Traveling from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport

The Airport MARTA Station is located at the west end of the airport terminal.

MARTA Fares and Payment

• Standard MARTA fare is $2.50 per one-way ride.
• Fare gates accept contactless credit and debit cards, mobile wallets, and Breeze cards.
• A reloadable physical or virtual Breeze card costs an additional $2.00.
• A 3-Day Pass, which includes unlimited MARTA rides, costs $16.00.
• Other fare and pass options are available through MARTA.

Planning to visit The Varsity?
A group plans to travel to The Varsity in Midtown for lunch on Saturday. Joining the outing will require a round trip on MARTA, unless you are using an unlimited-ride pass.

Directions to the Hotel by MARTA

1. At the airport, board a Red Line train toward North Springs.
2. Exit at Buckhead Station.
3. Follow the signs toward Peachtree Road and use the south exit.
4. At street level, turn left and walk toward the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta.
5. The Embassy Suites is approximately one block beyond the InterContinental.

Members arriving at a time when Red Line trains are not operating directly from the airport may need to take a Gold Line train and transfer to the Red Line at Lindbergh Center.

Parking Information

Hotel Parking

• Self-parking: $45 per night
• Valet parking: $55 per night
• Covered and secured parking is available.
• Parking includes in-and-out privileges.

MARTA Long-Term Parking

Lower-cost parking is available at selected MARTA stations:

• Lindbergh Center Station: $8 per day for parking longer than 24 hours
• Medical Center Station: $5 per day for parking longer than 24 hours

Parking for less than 24 hours is generally free at these stations when the applicable validation procedures are followed. From either station, take the Red Line to Buckhead Station.

Group Dinner

We’re excited to announce that the group dinner for the HPNS Society Annual Weekend will be at the historic Mary Mac's Tea Room.

Located in Midtown Atlanta, the tea room is just minutes from the North Avenue MARTA station. It is also an easy rideshare from Mary Mac's to the Atlanta Eagle.

Take the Red Line from the Buckhead MARTA station to the North Avenue station. Exit the MARTA station using the 3rd Avenue exits. and proceed EAST (away from West Peachtree St). When you reach Myrtle St., turn South (right) and Mary Mac's is on Ponce de Leon Avenue (the next block), on the left.
